When I was told some months ago, that we were to use a new recruiter who I’d never had any dealings with - I envisaged problems from the outset. However, on first contact their friendly member of staff took all the information required in one quick phone call which was a surprise in itself since I usually get repeated interruptions from recruiters who haven’t listened properly in the first instance or neglected to ask the right questions. Craig worked alongside our recruitment & HR function during a demanding offshore wind scope. We required over 300 offshore contractors to complete this project. Craig sourced 158 of them for us which included supervision, quality control, welders, platers, mechanical fitters and rope access technicians. He coordinated a complex training schedule, the logistics were extremely difficult from start to finish. We had to ensure all contractors were on the right course on the right day over a period of 8 weeks prior to the project starting to get everyone through the training. There were challenges which included chartering flights, handling staff changeovers every 2 weeks, planning rotas, scheduling which teams were to work on what transition pieces. It was a difficult project for us but without the additional support and hours that craig put in it would have been much, much harder. Thank you for all your hard work on this contract.
