Thank you!!

We want to publicly thank our PRV Technicians who delivered beyond expectation on this project…

What happened?

A long standing client of ours unexpectedly found themselves in urgent need of certified PRV technicians.   Anticipating the potential work scope was not going to be awarded to them since they had not not heard a whisper from the operator, our client redeployed their available maintenance team due to carry out the works to an alternative project which was in need of extra support only to get the call at 6pm Friday evening to say it was on and the manpower was required in Tenerife no later than 12 noon on Monday.   They immediately called our out of hours emergency number given to all of our clients and our team worked until the early hours that night, all day Saturday and into Sunday to source a number of hard to find ASME/API Certified valve technicians.  We searched far and wide, using every resource possible and delivered selection of candidates to choose from.  Our chosen candidates, packed up, dropped everything, travelled over 200 miles to Newcastle to pick up their PPE and additional equipment and boarded a flight.

The project was a huge success, our client was impressed, our clients, client was impressed and to add our contractors even stayed on longer than scheduled to complete an additional work scope outside the agreed contract.  One of them even missed an important family engagement to support out clients needs.

Hats off to you all.  You did us so proud.  As you all know our client will offer you future PRV work before looking to anyone else.  Well Done and thanks again

What is a PRV?

A pressure relief valve (PRV) is a type of valve used to control or limit the pressure in a system or which can build up for a process upset, instrument or equipment failure, or fire. The pressure is relieved by allowing the pressurised fluid to flow from an auxiliary passage out of the system.
